Is Botox safe ?

Botox is a very safe and effective way to smooth fine lines and wrinkles cosmetically. The neurotoxins we use at Redefine by Z are FDA approved for cosmetic use.

How do I know if microneedling is right for me ?

During your consultation, you will discuss with one of our providers what skin concern(s) you would like to target and what your desired outcome is. Our providers will review your medical history and examine your skin to assess if microneedling is a good treatment plan for you.

What should I expect after a microneedling treatment ?

After getting a microneedling treatment, it is normal to experience redness and slight swelling, similar to a sunburn. The redness and swelling should subside in 2-3 days. You will be given post procedure instructions, a recommended treatment plan and suggested skin care products that will help target your skin concerns.

How long before I see results after microneedling ?

You should see results in 3-4 weeks. Results can continue to improve for the next 6 months after treatment.

How do I maintain results after a microneedling treatment ?

To maintain the results of our microneedling treatment, you should have an appropriate treatment plan and daily skin care routine. One of our providers will recommend skin care products that can enhance the results of the treatment by targeting your specific skin-care needs.

What are the risks of getting a chemical peel ?

During your consultation with one of our providers, it will be discussed if a chemical peel is a good treatment plan for your skin concerns and skin type. Superficial peels are generally safe and can cause mild irritation to the treatment site.

What is the recovery time after a chemical peel ?

Superficial chemical peels have minimal downtime. Healing time can range from 1 to 7 days.

What should I expect after getting a chemical peel done ?

Chemical peels will require some at home care. Our providers will discuss with you a proper after care regimen and will suggest skin care products to enhance the results of the peel. Using sunscreen and avoiding sun exposure after receiving a chemical peel is highly recommended. You should also allow the skin to exfoliate on its own without physically peeling off loose skin.

When will I see results after a chemical peel and how long will they last ?

You will see results after your skin heels. The healing time after receiving a superficial chemical peel ranges from 1 to 7 days. Multiple sessions may be needed to achieve the look you desire. Depending on the depth of the peel and whether or not you have a proper skin care regimen, results can last months to years. With superficial peels, multiple sessions may need to be completed to reach the targeted skin goal.
